Gateway is located on the south east corner of the Sanyan Bridge in the Lufthansa commercial district. The nearby Sanyuan Bridge and Guomen Road no.1, of the East Third Ring Road are also connected to the Dongzhimen road on the west. It is therefore a very convenient transportation junction siding the Lido business community on the north of the first station from the capital airport.

The Lufthansa business district is the most famous commercial community in Beijing which contains one forth of the overseas organizations in the capital. With so many years of development, it has become the most mature international commercial district containing many of the A-grade commercial building, international hotel, embassy, international shopping centre and overseas education organization in Beijing.
