Web fax is a new technology in facsimile transmission. It allows user to view faxes anytime over the internet without any additional software required. It is also very environmental friendly as it may save papers with the option of printing or saving the document.

What is the characteristics of web fax ?
It is not required to use a fax machine and telephone line for the web fax to receive faxes. Moreover, it is possible to send different formats of file simultaneously as well as the functions to preset fax cover page and notify user when a new fax is received.

Is there any telephone notification function ?
The free telephone notification function is only available for the mobiles in Hong Kong and China only. The system will send out the first notice within 60 seconds upon the receipt of fax and the reminder will continues until the user has confirmed the receipt.

Is it possible to have the notification of received faxes in sms instead of telephone ?
Yes, however, it is only available for the mobiles in China.

Is it compulsory to have an email account to receive fax ?
Besides receiving faxes from the email, users can also login to the website http://fax.sbctrader.com to view faxes.

Are there any other functions from the SBC e-Fax service besides the normal facsimile functions ?

- B) Settings for CSID.
- C) Choice of 3 languages (Cantonese/Mandarin/English) for fax notification.
- D) Create personal folder for permanent storage of sent and received faxes.
- E) Setup contact group record and black-list number to prevent the receipt of“Junk” faxes.
